SHAW BROTHERS SHINE AS HAWKS SOAR IN HISTORIC 113-57 WIN
Kyrell Shaw dropped a season-high 31 points, hitting seven three-pointers. His brother, Ketron “KC” Shaw, notched UMES’ first triple-double since 2014 with 11 points, 12 assists, and 10 rebounds.
Six Hawks scored in double figures, including Christopher Flippin (16), Jose Cuello (13), Cardell Bailey (11), and Maurice Vassel, who added a double-double with 10 points and 11 boards.
The Hawks set multiple milestones:
• 115 points: Most since December 2015.
• 18 threes: Most since 2006.
• 30 assists: A record dating back to 2008.
• 56 rebounds: A season high, doubling GU’s 30.
